Homemade Kettle Corn

I made two batches of this tonight...the first recipe I thought could be improved upon, so I tweaked it and made my own. The second turned out AWESOME!

Homemade Kettle Corn

Pop 1/2 c. of corn kernals and set aside.
In a saucepan, combine 2 T. oil, 2 T. water, and 2/3 c. white sugar. Stir as it comes to a boil. Just before it boils, throw in 2 T. butter and melt it in. When it boils, set your timer for 3 1/2 minutes, and let it simmer. Remove from heat and pour over popcorn while stirring popcorn. It will appear to clump together, but keep stirring and as it cools it will not clump anymore. Don't forget to salt it!
