A behind the scenes look at what happens when a certain little boy (who shall remain nameless) thinks it would be really fun to run around with the camera, while flipping it in his hands, instead of joining the rest of the family for scriptures. :)

Remembering
My grandpa and grandma Vaughn...grandma passed away 3 weeks ago, so she has no grave marker yet. Grandpa was extremely proud of his service in the US Navy (as a "Frogman") during WWII.

Concert Videos
Here is a small exerpt of one of the choir's songs, "Shenandoah." This was one of my favorites of the evening, and this video shows why. Their voices during this part sound like ripples on the river. Love it!!
It's not about me
Okay, it's the last few weeks before school lets out for the summer, and life is just incredibly crazy. For starters, I can't believe Nicole is going to graduate from high school! I used to say that I was in denial over it, but I had an epiphany. It's not about me! It's really not. It's about Nicole, who is so totally her own person, and a good one at that. It's about her growing up and moving on with her own life and the things that she will accomplish. I'm sure they will be great things, too. I'm excited to watch it all happen.
Here's a shot of her with her BHS Acapella choir, singing last week at Libby Gardner Hall on the U campus. It was an AWESOME concert. And an absolutely BEAUTIFUL concert hall!!

Moving Day!
Last weekend, the chickens relocated out to their real diggs...the chicken coop. Here are some pics.
We took them out there in a box, and they slowly
left the box and started checking out their new diggs.
Then they found their way out through the little chicken door,
down the ramp,
and out into the run to explore.
They seem to like it a lot.
